Ms.
Michelle C. Matava is a Regional Vice President and Senior

EMPLOYMENT |
Before
joining Klaris, Thomson & Schroeder, Inc., Ms. Matava was
the Director of Valuations at A.G. Edwards & Sons, Inc.
Her
primary responsibility was the project management for all
valuation engagement, valuation practice marketing and analyst
training. Prior to
joining A.G. Edwards she was a financial manager for Arthur
Andersen’s Valuation Services Group and a treasury analyst for
Days Inns of America, Inc., a hotel and hospitality firm.

EXPERIENCE |
Actively
engaged in the appraisal and consulting profession since 1988,
her experience specialized in the valuation of capital stock of
closely-held companies in a variety of industries including
transportation, industrial, energy, healthcare, retail and
manufacturing for numerous purposes including transaction
planning, taxation planning and reporting requirements, employee
ownership, litigation support and dispute resolution, strategic
planning and fiduciary advise, and financial consulting.

AFFILIATIONS |
Ms.
Matava is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of
the St. Louis Society of Financial Analysts.
Ms. Matava is also a candidate for an Accredited Senior
Appraiser (ASA) designation in business valuation offered
through the American Society of Appraisers.

EDUCATION |
Ms.
Matava attended Southeast Missouri State University and received
a B.S. degree in interdisciplinary studies.
She received an M.B.A degree in finance from the
University of Missouri – Columbia Graduate School of Business.
Ms.
Matava has completed BV 201, 202, 203 and 204 offered by the
American Society of Appraisers.
