Mr.
Raynor J. Klaris is the President of Klaris, Thomson &
Schroeder, Inc. and he is the managing director of the Los
Angeles area office.

AFFILIATIONS |
Mr. Klaris is a Senior Accredited Member of the
American
Society of Appraisers with a specialty in business valuations.
Mr.
Klaris is also a Senior Residential Member of the Society of
Real Estate Appraisers. He has qualified as a Class IV Appraiser
by the Commissioner of Savings and Loan, State of California, in
1964; and approved as a qualified appraiser for the California
State Division of Corporations in 1967.
He
is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, a National Business
Administration Honorary Scholastic Society. Mr. Klaris served as
President of the Los Angeles Chapter No. 1 of the Society of
Real Estate Appraisers for the year of 1977-1978.

EXPERIENCE |
Mr.
Klaris has been actively engaged in the appraisal profession
since 1961. He has prepared and supervised appraisals covering
the major categories of land, buildings, machinery and equipment
of industrial, and agricultural clients. In addition, he has
appraised total business enterprises including sole
proprietorship, partnerships and corporate entities including
all intangibles, such as licenses, patents, goodwill, etc.
Appraisals prepared by Mr. Klaris have been used for
purposes of sale/purchase, tax allocation, ad valorem tax,
condemnation, rental, financing, insurance and dissolution.

EMPLOYMENT |
Before joining Klaris, Thomson & Schroeder, Mr.
Klaris had been associated with another national
multi-discipline appraisal firm. This later association began in
1961 as an Appraiser and Appraisal Services Director in charge
of real estate and institutional appraisals.
From
1966 to 1968, Mr. Klaris served as a Senior Appraiser with Tait
Appraisal Company of Los Angeles and San Francisco, California.
In 1968, he became Vice President and Regional Manager of Tait
in San Francisco, and in 1970 served as Vice President of Tait
of Los Angeles.
Mr.
Klaris rejoined the same national multi-discipline appraisal
firm that he was associated with in 1961 again in 1973 and
became Area Appraisal Manager of the Western Area in 1974. In
1977, he became Vice President/Consulting.
Since
1983, he has been a Senior Valuation Consultant.

COURT
TESTIMONY |
Mr.
Klaris has testified as an expert witness before the Superior
Court, Contra Costa County, California; Commissioners appointed
by the Superior Court, County of Los Angeles; Superior Court,
County of Orange; U.S. District Court, Los Angeles; and before
the Tax Appeals Board, City and County of San Francisco and
County of Los Angeles, California.

EDUCATION |
Mr. Klaris received his B.S. Degree with a major in
Agriculture Economics, from the University of California, Davis
in 1955.
He
received an M.B.A. Degree in 1961 at the Graduate School of
Business, University of California at Los Angeles.
Mr.
Klaris has completed Business Valuation courses I, (II &
III) and IV of the American Society of Appraisers.
He
has also completed Real Estate courses I, II, & IV of the
American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers and
"Appraising Single Family Residences" of the Society
of Real Estate Appraisers.
