EMPLOYMENT |
Before joining Klaris, Thomson & Schroeder, Inc. Mr. Braunstein
was a Manager of Public Policy with Cox Enterprises, Inc. where
he worked on various legislation dealing with estate tax,
corporate reorganizations, and the tax treatment of intangible
assets and intellectual property. Prior to that, he was an
associate with a law firm where he participated in a variety of
corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions,
dispositions, public and private equity and debt offerings.
Before his association at the law firm Mr. Braunstein was a
senior auditor and assistant tax manager with Marriott
International, Inc., where he organized and conducted audits and
participated in evaluating and implementing tax planning for
Marriott’s business and operations.

EDUCATION |
Mr. Braunstein attended Ithaca College, where he earned a
Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. Mr. Braunstein also
attended Vanderbilt University School of Law, where he earned
the degree of Doctor of Jurisprudence.
